Wroughton Junior School

History

At Wroughton Junior School, we believe that learning history should inspire our learners to be more curious about the past and understand how the past has shaped the current world and our collective identity. Our learners should see themselves as a historian and aim to think like one. This means that we provide opportunities for learners to build a connected knowledge base as well as an understanding at how we have arrived at this knowledge. Through the history curriculum our learners will explore the history of our country and the wider world in a meaningful way.
