Religious Education
At Wroughton Junior school, we promote curious, open minded learners who explore a range of religious beliefs and practices through enquiry lead learning. Children will develop the knowledge and skills in order to embrace and respect people of different faiths and beliefs, both in their school and wider global communities. The principle aim of RE is to engage pupils in an enquiry approach where they can develop an understanding and appreciation for the expression of beliefs, cultural practices and influences of religions and worldviews in the local, national and wider global community. RE plays a key role in the development of pupils; spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
