Our School Day

8:15am -School gates open

8:25am -Doors open

8:30am - Doors closed and school gates closed

Adults greet and welcome children on the Year 3 and Year 4 door and the Year 5 and Year 6 door in the mornings once the bell is rung.

8:30am - Register and Early Morning Activity

8:40am - Assembly or SWAT (Skills with a Target)

9:00am - Lesson

10:00am - Break and snack time

10:15am - Lesson

11:10am - Lesson

12:10pm - Lunch

13:00pm - Reading for Pleasure or Class Assembly

13:15pm - Lesson

14:00pm - Lesson

14:30pm - Celebration Assembly (Friday only)

15:00pm - Home time

At the end of the day, children are dismissed by their teacher from the play ground.

Year 3 and Year 4 are dismissed from the small playground. Year 5 and Year 6 are dismissed from the large playground.

School gates are locked from 15:10pm

A school day lasts for 6.5 hours and the school week totals 32.5 hours a week
